Michelle Turner is the creator of Turner NextGen AI, an organizational intelligence framework for understanding how humans, AI systems, data, workflows, and physical systems organize to produce performance.

Her work began in movement science. Over more than two decades, Turner studied how human systems organize under gravity, adapt under pressure, compensate for structural limitations, and maintain—or lose—functional continuity. Her work has crossed developmental movement, neurological rehabilitation, elite sport, biomechanics, and physical performance.

Those observations led to a larger question:

What if the same organizational principles that reveal why a human system succeeds, compensates, or breaks down can also help us understand complex technological and organizational systems?

That question became Turner AI.

Today, Turner applies organizational intelligence across human-AI collaboration, AI auditing, physical AI, movement analysis, and complex operational systems. Rather than evaluating performance only by its outputs, Turner AI examines the relationships underneath performance: what information is available, how resources are organized, where dependencies exist, how systems interact, and what changes when the system is placed under pressure.

Her work is focused on a simple principle:

Position before performance.

Before asking whether an AI, human, team, or physical system performed correctly, establish whether the conditions required for that performance were actually available.

This approach provides the foundation for Turner AI consultation, auditing, research, and system analysis.
